Tough Loss To Seadogs Gives Bombers Their Second Loss Of The 2004 Season

The Bombers lost a heartbreaker on June 29th to Mulligans SeaDogs, dropping to 4 wins and 2 losses on the season.   Roy Horowitz led the Bombers with a 3-4 game with 3 RBI's.  The Bombers played well offensively in the first half of the game, scoring 13 runs staking them to a 13-8 lead after 4 innings.  The SeaDogs shut the Bombers down for the last 3 innings, however, and continued to peck at the lead. 

The SeaDogs scored 3 runs in the 6th and 4 runs in the 7th, making every hit count in the process.  The Bombers, who had been hitting well while scoring their 13 runs, managed only a pair of hits in the 5th inning and 1 hit in each of the last 2 innings.
