This year Retirees participated in a three part program on medication issues. The series was sponsored by CPofNJ. Extracts of Debra Maslansky presentation can be seen at "Senior Sense, A Program on Medication Practices".

On Jan. 5, two officers of the West Windsor Art Council, Jeff Nathanson and Heidi Kleinman, provided a briefing on the activities, goals, and structure of the WWAC. Jeff reviewed the past activities and outlined the progress towards becoming a category 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Heidi, a local architect, reviewed the current layout of the former Princeton Junction Fire Station and the plan envisioned by the WWAC for the facility. New members are welcome to join the WWAC, as they continue to conduct fundraising events in the Township. Their program was well received and it provided an opportunity for several questions to be asked by the audience on the planning and goals. To learn more on coming events, and the WWAC, visit the WW Arts Council Web Site

Memories ___________ Are the Fabric of Life!

The Retirees Group was formed in 1989 by Bernt Midland with support from George Levin, Gil Gilmore and Shep Bell. The initial group which included, Bob Cox, Glenn Bruestle, Bill Bleacher, Lance Marshall, Scott James, Bob Nielson, Tony Zuccarello, Bob Pierce, Roy Lockwood, and Don Hugdin, met in the West Windsor Library.

Currently the roster now lists 60 members, and the group leader is Ron Slinn. Drop by the Center at 10:00 AM Monday when a program is scheduled and meet the group and enjoy the program. We welcome you to the meetings, we need your ideas; diversity of opinions and background keeps the program vigorous and interesting!

Many other Center activities are available, including luncheons, movies, games, clubs, lectures and a variety of training programs in dance, health techniques, language, arts, crafts and computer operations. Residents discover ways to share and enhance the quality of life, using spare time for discussion and learning.
