The Program: On Sunday Sept. 21, 2003 we'll leave the WW Senior Center at 12:00 PM and drive to New Hope, PA. on the Delaware River. Carpooling will reduce the number of cars and lower the parking fees, which are your responsibility and are typically $5.00. It is about a one block walk from the parking areas to the canal barge loading ramp. |
| The barge ride will begin at 01:30. On the ride, the barge is pulled by mules on the tow path. During the ride, we'll have a picnic dinner and music in the background. In the past years, Keen Agers have always really enjoyed their time on the Canal. The barge will return to the ramp at about 2:45 PM. We should be back at the WW Senior Center by about 04:00 PM, unless you have made arrangements to come back later after you tour the area. |

Tickets $20 per Person: Tickets will go on sale on July 28. Bill Schroeder 799-0932 is the Keen Agers official ticket agent. Keenagers wishing tickets should notify and pay Bill Schroeder at the August 28 Meeting. Tickets will be sold to the general public on a first come first serve basis after August 28th Meeting. |

REMEMBER: This is Keen Agers Fundraiser event. Part of the cost of all tickets sold above 32 will provide needed income to the treasury to provide for other programs. The maximum barge capacity is 70; we are limiting the event to 60. Tell your friends and join in on this great afternoon on the Canal! |
