Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF):
Lions Clubs International Foundation, the grant-making arm of Lions Clubs International, brings help, hope and healing to the world.
For information about the LCIF, visit their web site at LCIF
Grants Programs:
LCIF enables Lions to tackle global problems such as blindness and hearing loss and respond to major
catastrophes such as earthquakes and floods. But LCIF also helps Lions serve their local communities
by partnering with them to build schools, health clinics and vocational training centers for the disabled.
Visit Grant Programs to learn
more about the several categories of grant programs.
Grant Applications:
Each of the grant programs begins with an application for assistance. Visit the Forms for Grant Application
Melvin Jones Fellows:
The LCIF instituted a program to honor outstanding contributors. The process for becoming a Melvin Jones Fellow is simple. The Melvin Jones Fellowship application,
available from LCIF Forms, needs to be completed. The US$1,000 contribution can be made by individuals
(including non-Lions), clubs or districts. Installment donations in any amount can be made over a five-year
period. See the Melvin Jones Fellows Program
