The success of Lions International is due primarily to the work of its members in the local clubs within the framework established since the founding of the organization in Chicago, IL in 1917, and the vision and planning to extend this program worldwide.

Vision Programs: Collecting used eyeglasses for donation to Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers that are located throughout the world. The used eyeglasses are cleaned, repaired and classified by prescription. Visit Eye Glass Recycling Program Hearing Programs: Visit the Lions Clubs International Hearing Aid Bank Program (HARP) site. See International Hearing Aid Bank Program Lions News Network (LNN): The LNN is a media arm of Lions International that produces short Public Service Announcements, Program Videos to describe and report on activities of the Service Programs. LNN provides access to LQ-Lions Quarterly, an online video magazine; public service announcements (PSAs) to view and download for television broadcast; and video programs to view and order. These can be viewed online with high speed internet services. The West Windsor Branch of the Mercer County Library offers high speed internet connections by wireless and network services.
