Each month, the Center staff prepares a 12 page pamphlet to mail to the Seniors enrolled with the Center. You'll receive the pamphlet near the end of the month; it's chock full of information on the programs, trips, service opportunitiies and news of interest to seniors. It outlines planned activities including luncheons, movies, games, clubs, lectures and a variety of training programs in dance, health techniques, language, arts, crafts and computer operations. You can read the pamphlet online by visiting the WWSC site and selecting Senior News, see the web link below. The Center programs are the result of a dedicated staff and the participation of the many residents in the over 24 different activities. Several of the programs were proposed by a resident and were adopted by the Center, because other members enrolled and interest grew and the programs have continued to develop.

FoWWSC holds meetings and some events at the WW Senior Center. FoWWSC officers maintain close liaison with the Center Director, who attends most of the FoWWSC meetings and provides administrative services to support the FoWWSC operations. FoWWSC provides modest funds to support activities of the Senior Center, and donates items as the need is indicated. As participants in these groups, you may see needs that FoWWSC should evaluate. |
