FoWWSC Contributors

FoWWSC has been fortunate to be the recipient of gifts from several benefactors. In addition to the contributions made by individuals accompanying their payment of member dues, FoWWSC is grateful to have received several forms of donations. The particular tax circumstance of course will vary for each donor entity. Each donor may treat these gifts for federal tax purposes as a deduction.

FoWWSC will respect the privacy wishes and desire for anonymity of any member or contributor. Anonymous contributions will not bear the identify of the donor. For those donors where it is appropriate, FoWWSC would coordinate a picture to memorialize the donation and with the donors approval, publish the event in our local newspaper.

FoWWSC will issue a letter for each contribution that is in excess of $20 dollars. To acknowledge your gift and to indicate FoWWS gratitude, donors will receive a Certificate of Appreciation appropriate for framing or display.

In some cases, FoWWSC will sponsor events and seek donations in kind to defer the expenses for the event. FoWWS is most grateful to the businesses in our community and for their generosity in support these events. The businesses will receive a letter of gratitude from FoWWS and a Certificate of Appreciation appropriate for framing and display.

Estates Bequests, Trusts, and Grants:

When one creates a will or reviews the altenatives offered by trusts, it is clear that this is an opportunity to support the goals of this organization.

Businesses can establish grants to support special needs to infuse funds at critical phases to create or sustain senior supporting activities.

Donations In Honor Of Another:

Many find it a thoughtful and rewarding to donate in honor of a friend which is celebrating a birthday or recuperating from an illness.

These gifts, small and large amounts, when aggregated provide a much needed and appreciated support to the senior citizen activities in our community.

Memorium:

When one considers the wonderful facilities and environment experienced by seniors in the community, these opportunities and environment can be sustained for future seniors by each of us by ensuring our estate or will includes a provision to bequeath to the FoWWSC.

FoWWSC has recently received several donations from thoughtful residents that remembered this program when planning their final estate. We hope this trend will continue.

Business Donations:

Businesses are in a unique position to further the FoWWSC goals, and FoWWSC will endeavor to pursue the manifold ways in which these organization and FoWWSC can work for the benefit of senior citizens.

Office equipment including computers and software, filing cabinets, can be used beneficially by various senior facilities in the Township. Education in the proper operation of modern office equipment may make it possible for some seniors to be able to participate part-time in the work force.

Senior artist like to exhibit their products, and business can provide an unique opportunity to show case these talents.

Selected businesses may be able to support the Transportation needs of Seniors by support a coallition of interested groups to work in cooperation with the American Red Cross to provide a solution to this growing problem.

Citizen Donations:

Like any organization, the backbone of the support is built upon the contribution of each and everyone of those that make a contribution according to their individual means and circumstances.

FoWWSC is grateful to all of those that contribute their talent, time and treasure to further the goals of this organization.

Over the past sixteen years, the board members who served, the residents that donated, and the community that formed to enrich their lives by participating in the activities of the West Windsor Township Senior programs and activities wish to thank those special contributions to support the Friends of West Windsor Senior Cizitens, Inc. The donations of those wishing to remain anonymous are sincerely appreciated.
